Community Professional Development

  • We offer in-person and virtual trainings, bringing experts in to explore important topics in the field of early childhood education.
  • Trainings provide opportunities to come together as a community to network and form connections.
  • Past Trainings have included topics such as: Project Based Learning, Creating Outdoor Environments, Mentor Training, Loose Parts, and Podcast Club.
  • Trainings typically take place once every three months. See our calendar for upcoming trainings.

School Specific Professional Development

  • After an initial in-take interview, our experts will access how we can best support your program through uniquely tailored professional development opportunities. 
  • Professional development opportunities can include one session or a series of sessions. They can be tailored to groups of staff, such as teachers or administrators, or created with the whole staff in mind. 
  • Popular topics include (but are not limited to): Creating an Image of the Child, Developing Outdoor Environments, Developing Indoor Environments, Implementing Project Based Learning and Unstructured Play As The Framework of Your Curriculum, Manifesting Your Vision, and Supporting Children with Challenging Behaviors. 
  • Our Training Teachers For Success Series, which included a three session New Teacher Orientation, three module follow up focusing on more advanced areas such as curriculum, environment, and teacher interactions, an individual portfolio plan, and mentor opportunities. The completion of the Training Teachers For Success Series can lead to becoming a certified C3 Center.

  • After in initial in-take interview, our experts will access how we can best support your program through training.
  • Training can be provided individually or in small groups. 
  • Training is often helpful as follow-ups to professional development sessions, as schools work to develop and implement topics from the sessions. 
  • Training can be tailored supporting administrators and/or teachers in a one-time session or during ongoing sessions.
  • Training can focus on a variety of topics specifically tailored to your program.
