Maria Lopez

Hello everyone. My name is Ms. Maria and I have worked in the field of Early Childhood Education for 14 years. Those 14 years have been amazing and full of wonderful memories that have been created with the families I have had the privilege of working with. What makes my career choice fulfilling is the joy  I have of working with children, families, and adult learners. I get a little bit of everything:  witnessing the children grow and change throughout the years, observing apprentices become confident teachers, and having families see the value in partnerships to help their children grow in all areas of development. I have had many varying experiences as I have worked with children ages 18 months to 5 yrs. I have also worked in state-funded preschools as well as a Home Family preschool during my summer break.  In my spare time, I love spending time at home with my family. My husband, kids, sister, parents, and family friends are my inspiration to be the best teacher/mentor I can be. Nothing in the world makes me happier than to be here creating beautiful and inclusive environments and providing developmentally appropriate experiences for ALL children.
